There are free adult chat rooms where you can talk about family issues and kids there are other adult chat rooms where you can talk with singles. It all depends on what you are looking for.
There used to be an adult RPG (Role Play Game) site, you had to be 18 years of age, where I met a number of people that became friends and more. Unfortunately that site no longer exists. Adult chat rooms sometimes do disappear or become advertising banner intensive if it is sold or taken over by someone else. Many of the sites I used to frequent are no longer a viable chat room for me.
There are chat rooms and forums online for any interest. Adult chat rooms where the person has to be at least 18 to be able to sign on is a good thing. For someone younger, there are teen chat rooms, but parents should monitor them with the predators out there unfortunately.
Do a search for adult chat rooms and check them out. You might be pleasantly surprised and might even find a friend or two along the way.
