Chatrooms are the new social scene where you can chat with friends or someone you have never met before. Yahoo and AOL both offer easy to use services where you can choose between venturing into an already set up chat room to having a private conversation with a close selection of people. Video chat rooms have also surfaced recently to allow the user to interact more personally with one another. Since video chat rooms are still pretty new to the scene, picture and sound quality might suffer a little and things will not sync correctly for probably a little while longer. Over the next few blogs I'll go over the different kind of chatrooms that you can venture into as well as your options for a more private chat with fellow friends.
